SMALL WORKS big impact

I’m excited to be part of a special fundraising event for the Ojai Studio Artists, taking place at the blanchesylvia gallery here in Ojai, California. This promises to be a vibrant celebration of our creative community, with 38 original works generously donated by OSA artists—each piece a small but powerful expression of what makes this group so unique.
What makes this event especially fun is the format: every artwork will be raffled, giving collectors and supporters the chance to take home an original piece at an accessible price point. It’s a wonderful way to engage with local art, whether you’re a longtime collector or just beginning your journey.
The exhibition will be on view leading up to the big night, culminating in the raffle drawing on April 19th at 6 PM. There’s something about the anticipation of the draw—the energy in the room, the sense of possibility—that makes this more than just an art event. It becomes a shared experience.
All proceeds support the Ojai Studio Artists, helping fund scholarships, mentorships, and programs that keep our local arts community thriving. If you’re nearby, I hope you’ll come by, see the work in person, and join in the excitement. And if you’re farther away, there are still ways to participate and be part of it.
Here is my piece: Strange Flower #3
