2025, I participated in an exhibit called “Nature’s Canvas” with Ojai Studio Artists. Inspired by a visit to Taft Garden the previous year, I captured its beauty through photographs. While working on unresolved abstract paintings, I began photographing my paintings and then layering these images digitally. Using Adobe Illustrator, I transformed garden forms into simplified vector shapes, resulting in intricate compositions that often combine up to six underlying paintings. This process feels alchemical, with a unique quality that's hard to replicate.
